A big battle for such a little boy.

My friend Tom McGhee has been donating his photographic services in support of a little Australian boy, Isaiah Muller, who is currently staying at Ronald McDonald House in Manhattan. Isaiah is there for a series of treatments to hopefully save his remaining eye after the other one was lost to cancer.

Isaiah was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare paediatric cancer of the eye, at the age of just 18 months. A tumour in his right eye resulted in that eye being removed to prevent the cancer from spreading to his brain.

'The actual shoot was interesting trying to get a child to sit still for a minute is a task in it's own, let alone afterjust having had a 4 hr treatment. Hugh & Deborah were very generous with their time and they brought their daughter Eva with them who Isaiah fell in love with straight away, calling out he loved her when they left.'

If you would like to donate to help this brave little boy then please go to the Women's & Childrens Health Foundation.
